    Straddy

Just a heads up for anyone who plans to go to straddy over the next few days. we fished a long gutter extending about 4 k's parallel to flinders beach from a boat yesterday and cleaned up. There is a feeding frenzy in it at the moment where mack tuna, good tailor around the 50-60cm mark and dart are pushing whitebait up onto the beach. So i'f your going take plenty of metals around the 20-30gram mark (we nearly ran out, probably lost about 20 or so between the fours of us). the tuna where hanging out in the gutter but you only need to cast over the wash to catch the tailor. We had quadruple hook ups on tuna and tailor on several occassion so get stuck into it while it lasts.

That's just great Jeremy do you know how much I hate you right now !!!!!
I was fishing the beach on flinders & yes the bait fish were coming right in but the only thing chasing them were the birds , could see the birds & plenty of surface action on the other side of breakers but they were too far out from the beach so all I got were some Whitting , small dart & 3 sea mullet , Main Beach was shot the storm action the past months has wrecked it , managed to get off the island before the droves arrived & burnt flinders down ........
Ahhhhh well there always next year ..... Well done mate ......
