That's a good feed the mate, glad to see a lot more went back to the water.
Gday fellas,
Hooked up with my mate this morning for a fish down the local. Didn't take long to manage a few either. The tailor were on and the first two went around 40cm. Caught a heap of em but released a fair bit too, all still legal. Only take what ya need hey.
All up we caught around 15-20 fish (2 hrs) but just keeepin enough for a feed. Great day on the bay, not bad for a quickie before work either.
I know what I'm having for dinner tonight!

Az, yeh mate thanx. Todays haul was caught on pillies ganged on 4/0 mustads, no lead at all. Standard set up. However previously have caught them on soft plastics as well as chrome slugs, but as previously mentioned by someone this can be an expensive way to get em.Originally Posted by Az
Got my tips on how to cook em in the general chat section "cooking Tailor", and thanx to all members for their tips. Simply flour both sides of the fillet, into a pan with butter and add some lemon. Serve with salad and chips etc. Beautiful!!!!
Fresh is best.
Thanx for all the feedback guys. I'm a firm believer in take what you need, not rape and pillage. Whether it's Tailor or Snapper, it's all the same. Cheers.

So where abouts roughly did you get them? In the bay?
Shane
Nice work!
"Definitely not giving you any stick" I Love the way you open there gills up makes them look 1-2 inchs longer. I'll be using that one day.
