Tweed river
I recently had a fantastic week on a house boat on the Tweed River with the family. The river system is great and very tidy and clean. I noticed that most of the fishing boats slowed down while I was moored or travelled past at a distance away from us. As a fellow boatee this was very much appreciated . To the skiboatees and wake boarders you lot have alot to be desired there is plenty of room on the river system but most if not all have to blurt past about 5 to 20 metres from us showing off. The only justice was watching some fall off near us which was fun to see. In the end my kids were giving score to the fallers to the disgust of the skiers. But they didn't say anything (shame really ) Would like to have said something then but I think they knew they were in the wrong by being to close.
To any Ausfish members in the Tweed area congrats to them for the river system

Re: Tweed river
I find it annoying when trying to fish the bridges around the Tweed that people ignore the 6 knots speed limit. Trying to combat wake whilst on the electric gets frustrating.
Just my 2 cents worth.
Cheers.

Re: Tweed river
yeah what did that sey you back? ps Agree about thoses losers on Jetskis, they go fast for about 3 mins and then think, hang on???? what else can I do on this......... go fast again or maybe some 360"s, what a crap way to waste fuel and add noise pollution.
My 5 bobs worth.
