Sunday Logan - 21/5/06

Went for a Sunday Logan today (my new coined term for my regular sunday afternoon logan river missions).

Was a tough afternoons fishin with a strong wind to contend with all afternoon.

The fishing was pretty slow going until right on dark when I managed to hookup 2 flathead on the southern tip of the rivermouth. The first went 40cms and the second 60cm. (Both caught on 3" Gulp rainbow minnow on a 6gm 1/0 jighead)

I always seem to find the flathead near the rivermouth of the logan.

I took the big one home for sunday dinner - its a nice way to end the weekend - fresh fish with chips and salad

Awesome fish. Starting to get that soft plastics action down pat! Exciting way to fish when you figure out the technique.
