Peel Thurs 25th May

Fished southern end of Peel this morning, pretty quiet, but picked up my first Snapper on squigies, was a real buzz. Only went 34cm so a quick release and then patted myself on the back. I was surprised at the amount of sand crabs hooking on to the mine, bagged one to surprise the misses. Might take a few dillies next time. Still quite a few Grinners around. Headed off to Pelican Banks for some good Whiting and another 2 metre Shovel Nose on the handline, a repeat of a few weeks ago. Beautiful day to be on the water (aren't they all!!!!).

Good to be out there Greg, hey.

Now try hitting the shallows between Goat and Bird at night for those XOS Bream that should be about to invade the bay.

Also, have a day shot in close and on the west side of the wreck, very close.
