Catch and release?
Pete - where r u
Bloody awesome fish mate! bet she went pretty hard! And a further question.... any weed around???
Cheers

I forgot to at that none of the sharks we catch are killed, all are released without harm. This is a Whaler Shark. The trace is a 10ft multistrand wire (what they use on yatchs). The hooks are stainless steel 14/0. There was no weed when we do this as it is a pain in the ass winding in a couple of hundred metres of 24kg line. Enjoy!!!

Chugga.
Do you use some form of watercraft to position your bait, or do you just drift it out in a rip???
Thanks Chugga
We should make the 'release' part of our sport very prominent wherever possible - you know what it's like out there these days.
Those bronzies can give you a workout mate hey.
Linds
The technique to get the bait out is very similar to the hammer throw. You need a burly trail to get them in and the launch the bait. These things are a lot of fun when you are stapped in.
Absolutely awesome Chugga
where were you on Fraser?
Looks like the top end
