    Rod.
Don't know if you read my last post in this thread or your using a special plastic that you dont want people knowing about!! but i asked what sort of plastic you used to catch the scat???? I don't mind if you don't want to tell me but some sort of answer would be nice..

Here is one of those spotted/red scat/butterfish I got in the net a few months ago in the pine. its the second one i have ever seen (other than in a pet shop). both were caught in a net.

Colour isn't as red as yours but its the same thing I am 99% sure.

here is the other more common one the striped buterfish/silver scat (image from Web)...

Its been awhile since i have caught one of these too but i don't use the cast net anywhere as often as i use to as I am injoying catching fish on line more these days

    cheers

I have just noticed that the post I put up answering all your guys questions didnt go up.

Mate I always answer as many of the questions people ask on my posts as I can and the lures that I catch the fish on are normally in the fishes mouth.
I caught it on a Juro 31/2 inch minnow and hooked it in the cheek so dont think it was trying to eat the lure.It was probably just in the wrong place at the wrong time. The Bream I caught on hidden weight gulps and Juros as well as Smith Camion hardbodies.

    Cheers Rod
