G'day Ausfishers, thought this would be a little bit of fun. My biggest fish caught in water less then 5 metres of water, was a snapper which went 70cm. It was caught on Friday 26th of may 2006 at Green Island, Moreton Bay Queensland. Let's see your Personal best for that depth.

lucyloo I heard it was only nine pounds my PB would be 14pounds of lake maquarie or swansea channel flattie,shaw was a big fish when I was only 12 years old .grandfather must have photo somewhere?

got this groper years ago out of a 12ft tinny up at burketown in 12feet , a pro fisherman came over and said it had to be around 7-8 hundred pounds being that it was 8 foot long and the biggest he had ever seen , the fish was pushed back out unharmed to swim away.
was caught on 100lb hand line using a small thready as bait , needless to say my hands were a bleeding mess after 1.5hours of fightin this monster. have some awesome video as well of the event .
