Central Bay on SP's
The weather gods coincided with days off and managed to get out this morning to chuck some plastic around.
Started near Harry A's with little success, Just a few 30 - 34 cm squire and a few whiting. Quite a few boats in a very small area which probably did nothing in the way of helping. Not complaining as its a pretty small, isolated spot which used to be only known to select few, but hey, thats fishing when you live next to a capital city. Everyone there were very considerate of each other and had a few laughs.
After the tide turned we headed over to the Southern and Western side of mud and managed to get a few chopper tailor and a nice 41cm tusk fish.
Still a relative novice when it comes to the plastic caper but putting the pieces together bit by bit. Last week I outfished my mate who is a sworn 'never to convert bait basher' but this week he had the money, I only managed 1 tailor. The other fish caught on bait. Dam!
Did anyone else see jet streams coming from 7 or 8 planes flying very close to each other at very high altitude just after sunrise this morning? Looked pretty awesome.
Still no dig camera and in all honesty, nothing of any note to photograph.
Cheers.
