    Where have they gone???

Hello fellow Ausfishers, I have gone out several times over the passed 2 weeks to Green Island and Wellington Point chasing Squire and Sweatlip with not much luck . I know this area produces well and has been doing well up until about 3 weeks ago. Has anybody had any luck out there with good catchs??? Or is it just me lacking in fishing skills

    cheers steve

G'day It has been very quite and will remain so until we get good rain. The Water is too clear so not much bait around.
This shoud pick up next week as there is going to be some rain.

Steven's correct we do need some good rains to flush the rivers and creeks.
I'm hoping by next weekend the fishing will improve with the New Moon.
Another point worth mentioning is tidal run.
Very slow moving tides during the day but much faster at night.
No run no fun but there's always exception to the rule as i found out recently.
    Cheers Brent

MMMMM Looks like T1 has lost faith in his fellow fisher buddy Tinn. "(alledgedly...).... "
Some guys hey Like I don't know who they were "(alledgedly...).... " dosen't sound like you beleive them T1 . They made up a story just to upset T1. That is why they keep asking when are we going out again to Wello.

To all fellow Ausfishers including T1 you must put in the time to catch fish no time no fish it is very simple. Sometimes you get them and other times you won't you just need to learn how to increase your chances of catching them.
It's all part of the fishing experience

Have any of you looked in deeper waters, could have something to do with the dietetry requirements, which they cannot find in the shallows.
Fish dont go on diets just because the tides and moon phases dont agree.
    regards

Webby, LOL, that is great advice! I wonder if they have Jenny Snapper or Weight Whalers?? Then again, there could be a Finnwood around a reef near u... (allegedly..)

PS: TINN its based on Phil's theory of photographing fish where u DIDN'T catch them...
