    very quite day we only boated 6 tailor and 1 flathead but the pro had his nets there all night so no wonder we got nothing 4 dory's ful of nets mmm

    Nice feed Shane, we were out there as well this morning, picked up a 50cm Estuary Cod, and a small pike.

    Might try again on Sunday.

    thanks guys all caught on pike and no i don't bleed them all filleted and eaten when home besides that blood makes a mess every where

    Haven't heard of anyone not bleeding tailor on the spot mate. Obviously you don't find it makes a difference. You're definitely right about the mess though. It never seems to go in one direction. Cheers

    i learnt off my father to catch them he never bled them and he is old school good enough for him good enough for me the idea is to make sure you clean them well in salt water so there is no blood left on the fillet
