Compass adjustment buoy + mud Friday

Fished the compass adjustment buoy Friday arvo - from about 2:00pm. It was dead as far as whiting went - saw one other boat land a fish probably a tailor. Moved over to Mud about 3:15pm. Only using SPs -- caught a small parrot (lovely colour) and five undersize squire (33-34 cm) - all returned in good nick. Packed it in around 6:00pm.
Yet to boat a keepable snapper on SPs at Mud -- probably should have been fishing in the morning with the rising tide.
Great day out though - watching the sun set from mud is great.

Posted a few photos even though not really worth it -- just wanted to check I could do it.

Yeah totally agree jimbo. The twitchin nipper is a dead set guru if you're after 35cm lizards.Done well on it fishing deep around pylons but is frustrating on the flats for breambos. The ready to rig ones seemed to go better than the pre rigged. I like a bit more weight in em than they come with so i whack my own head in them to suit. Cheers......
