    report from the seaway

Hi all went to the seaway wall early sat morning with no luck to report!!!

did the drift over the north wall of the seaway. with plenty of other boats, so we went to wavebreak island and pumped some yabbies then went to the end of the seaway and drifted got plenty of undersize sweetlips (i think thats what they are called) and plenty of small moses perch but then the wind picked up so we went to the other side of wavebreak island and caught plenty of GRINNERS these are annoying fish >.decided to call it quits due to wind and traffic. Want to try around the pylons of some canals down the gc is there any good places to go?? or just keep trying.

Anyway, will let you know with my next trip how i went.

    Cheers all
    Heath

    Heath,

you tried two good spots there mate, but realise the fish won't just jump on your line, you have to work for them. Alot of knowledge goes into becomming a good fisher, both thu reading and talking to others, and by trial and error on your own. Keep trying, persistence pays.

Seaway takes a while to work out. I might try it again tomorrow morning. What were you using for bait before you pumped the yabbies? You need large livies.
