Hi Ausfishers,
After the last few sessions on my own and yesterdays with Rich and T1, decided to give it a go today again ace up.
Got to my spot where I had landed some nice Tailor Sunday, 3 fish going 51cm, 56cm and 62cm, with 2 small flatty's in the mix too. All fish released even though the first Tailor had a photo session on the mobile, he finally swam off, almost too long out of the water.
Anyway, Tuesday I took another S.Afr mate plakky fishing to hopefully find some Tailor, Jew, Bream , Flatty etc. After 2 hours of a couple missed fished we moved to a Favourite spot of mine. 15 mins later more complaining of a lack of fish from my mate, he shouts I'm on, a little coaching and soon he has a nice healthy baby jew ready to be photographed and returned, next cast while I'm still rigging he shouts again, I'm on, another baby jew photo and release. Finally when my bait hits the water with a 5" Gulp I think to myself now its my turn, I land the next 3 with the biggest going 46cm all released after a few more pics. My mate also picked up a nice Flatty so we ended 3 all for the day. A great first few fish for my mate on his first Plakky session.
After yesterdays trip with the guys I decided to give it a nudge again this evening, had a few great hits early on and lost a nice Tailor, got 2 Flattys as the tide slowed and then just before sundown I nailed this little JACK, what a great surprise and a nice little fight, a couple of shakky pics and he was on his way to grow a little bigger.
Now I will try to post some of the pics regarding these sessions.

Called River pearch and they are a spiting image of a jew but they grunt and never get too big. have caught heaps of them in cabage tree ck at times of the year. I am pretty sure that Grants have them in thier book.. great catch all the same guys!! snaging a little jack at this time of year is dam lucky!!!
