hit the broadwater at 0600 looking the that big flathead that got away 3 week ago i had about an hour to kill before i hit crab island , the tides were almost the same wind was a bit stronger so i started on south wavebrack no good just toads moved to north wavebrack not a thing
moved again to seaway north wall fishin towards the sand end throwing my 3' blood worm stickbait in around the fallen trees , i had a small tap and then dead wait then the big girl was off after a short fight she was in the envro net she went 61cm nothing more in that area . time to hit crab
got about 10 under size flatties lost 1 at the side of boat in its 45 to50 mark
crab out bit guite moved on with no luck in the coomera river back to crab got 2 legal bream and lost a nice little diamond trevally at side of the boat with long hair looking fins would of been good to land it for a photo nevermind next time all fish went back to fight again .

Re: gold coast flattie part 2
i was out there today early 6am
fished around crab for a few small ones but then moved ontryed around the coomera river to get out of the wind
few more small ones
was heading back around midday and mate asked for a few more casts,so over to crab
3 people in the boat and 3 big girrls in 3 casts all over 60 was mayhem with the wind and low tide and only one net all boated and measured then released
ill be back to get them during the classic
