Thread: LOGAN RIVER

    Re: LOGAN RIVER

You mentioned your looking from around Redlands. You can access the Logan River from the Redlands side, a bit further upstream at the Cable Ski park off Ferry Road. This is a private pay ramp but the price is reasonable and they have a pontoon, which would make your launching easier. By the time you drive around to Woongoolba, the fuel saved would almost pay the launching fee and the time spent on the water instead of in the car should take care of the rest.

    Re: LOGAN RIVER

many thanks I appreciate the tip.
Any marks on the river worth looking for?
I believe there are some holes that hold fish, are they up or downsteam?

    Thanks again

in about 6 weeks time i'd be using that yellow thing to stealth troll pink crawdads across the flats for lizards

you can get where others can't in that thing - the big whiting are up in the creeks at this time of year and on the banks logan whiting talked about - the cobby cobby whiting will be in the drains that go from cobby to the back of short -you need very light tackle and absolute quiet.

use fresh prawn or local dug bloodys in the logan though for the slappers.

i would be forgetting what the boaties can offer you - go the skinny water.
