    Seaway Success

    Hi all, Its been a long time coming.... my first report.
    Im pretty pumped about this.

    This is my first tailor and my first fish caught using a metal slug, the fish was 54cm.
    All up I got 2 tailor and my mate got 4 trevally, below is a pic of one of my tailor.
    We fished between 6am and 830am on Friday morning 7/7/06

    Hi,

    Silent: I was fishing off the south wall.

    White_Steenbras: I think this was the largest of the trevally it was between 3 and 4 kg the others were slightly smaller.

    Great fish mate!
    I was down at the seaway last weekend and managed to get my first tailor and fish on a metal lure also!. Not quite as big as yours (45cm), but sure was fun. I Managed to land a 60cm GT and a few 40cm big eye trevs after that. What a great evening, lookin forward to head out there again.

    Nice fish mate....That seaway can be very hot and cold....
    Any fish off there is a good catch I reckon...
