Had a few short hours this afternoon to kill so headed over a to a close spot in the southern bay for a quick squire chase on SP's.......
Was a good arvo with a 50, 42 and 39 cm model coming aboard with countless other around the 30-34cm mark. On nightfall the fishing shut down which I felt was a a little suprising, so I left them and went home to squire and chips for tea.
There was no one "SP of the day", everything I tried (Berekly Gulps, Zoom Baby Bass, Food Source worms etc) was getting regularly smashed
Question: On nightfall should I have tried larger SP's??? (mostly I use 3") to get some interest???? Good to hear from the experts what I was doing wrong.
