Another Townsville landbased fisho. Never seem to have the time to go out due to so many other things happening. Last time out was with Krazi-Kev on the breakwall, several months ago.
Speaking of the man, Krazi-Kev, congrats (very belated) on the barra, read the post and was stoked for you. Also did you see noodlemantra's post on his first barra, which turned out to be some other critter of the sea (can't remember what it was)? I work with him and managed to sling some mud his way over that!

Close to where we live is where we can get some live mullet. There are a few grunter about. Nothing too big but good enough for a feed.

Yeah I'm a TSV person. Same prob as Dicko except the construction worker thingy. I work in an operating theatre on shift and call so even when I think I've got free time I rarely do. Good to get out though when everything is in alignment. Anyone got one of those big slingshot things that are on that beer ad? Biggest problem mainly is finding someone to pull anchor and take my crap when I can get out. Would be nice to meet up with a few of you. Have met some and so far all 100% top blokes. You can catch me round the breakwall every now and then (about 1-2 times per month) mainly at night or early morning.

If you decide to hit the creeks in a boat............I could possibly join you but I am no good anywhere else. Just a bag of burley. I was not gifted with sea legs. I spend a fair bit of time around the breakwater rocks. Catch the occasional small ones.
