    Broadwater Bream 31/7

Another day on the Broadwater, just fished for around 4 hours .
A little quieter than last week but still good.

Managed to get around 15 Bream with about 4 being undersize, best going 35 cm.

Went and picked up Angus at 9 as well but the fishing seemed to drop of at that time only managed a few more and 3 Tailor.

Angus also got a lovely little Diamonnd Trev.

    I couldn't believe this though.

As we were happily casting at a beacon a couple of old boys in a tinnie motored between us and the beacon, went around it twice then stuffed about to set the anchor right where we were fishing >

Didn't say anything to them, but we just kept casting near them, still we pulled a couple of fish of the beacon then left them to it.

And here's a couple of photos of the ones I took home, just to prove I can catch a fish

    Hey Mick,

Sounds like another nice session. Great to see others being so considerate of a fellow fisho >,

Do you think you'll be at the next Social on the 27th August, it's on your home waters at Paradise Point? Actually the way you have going maybe it would be best if you didn't attend give the rest of a chance.

    Cheers

    Hey John

I,m glad you chaged the date as on the original I will be in Adelaide for the ABT comp

I'm hoping to make the next social, but it is hard to plan, you know , 4 kids different activities to deal with.

Mate , if I go it will be garranteed that I won't catch a thing !!

My wife reckons that I'm cursed
As each time I go in any sort of comp I FAIL big time

Dan I've never seen a Diamond Trev before and yes ,they are a very nice looking fish.

    Nice catch mate.

I had the same issue with IDIOTS who have no F'ing idea whatsoever about anything to do with boating or fishing or life in general.

I though you were my mate posting, me and a mate were out last week in our 2 boats casting at a beacon and this idiot off a houseboat came motoring in between us and we woulda been about 15ft from eachother. >

Oh Yeah I didn't say whay they were caught on.

Nuclear chicken 2"shrimps and only a couple on the minnow grubs.

Those Nuclear Chicken shrimps are a fantastic thing for beacons and deep fishing, crazy colour but the Bream just love em.

Hey T1, there's nothing "Dodgy" about that double Jack hook up.

That 's my 15 minutes of fame and I'm sucking every second out of it
