Just moved to Brisbane from Sydney...
Wanting to know some good land based fishing spots along the river or at the beach.
Moved to West End, prepared to travel. Any help would be appreciated.

Anywhere from the Gateway Bridge outwards is a great place to start in the Bris Rvr! Also anywhere along the foreshores at Wynnum/Manly, Wellington Point, Cleveland, Victoria Point, Redland bay.

Try around newfarm park and pretty much from there up to the mouth is pretty good.
I've gotten a few bream from Breakfast Creek. There are a lot of good fish further towards the mouth landbased around pinkenba and the sunken wall is great for decent bream.
