    redcliffe night fish

amanda and i met up with peter (rainbowrunner) and kaimen (bassamundi) from this forum at dohles rocks boat ramp at 7pm,from there we headed out to one of there snapper spots just off redcliffe, with the reef anchor set we dropped our pike fillets down, around 10-20 minutes later kaimen hooked up on something at the same time i did,he pulled up a little gummy shark and i pulled up a medium size wobbegong, things went quiet for a while then kaimen got another hook up to a medium size gummy shark, then around 30 minutes later pete hooked up and called it for a squire/snapper and he was right,1 nice snapper in the esky,we flicked some more burley over the side and waited patiently, not long after amanda hooked up to a nice cod which we returned to grow bigger, then things went dead quiet and we were all tired and cold so we headed back to the ramp.

thanks for the trip out pete, and amanda said thanks for letting us take the snapper for her dad he will be a very happy man

    cheers tim

yeh havent had cod for a while iceman, had livies out alot too with no runs at all on the last few trips,
I am fishing very different bottom tho for the snapper compared to those nice big cod. Maybe I'll havta put in a few hours chasing them, while im trying to work out the redcliffe snapper.

    Tim and Amanda........your welcome
and get that berley going, i used that tub on sunday and was impressed by the constant trail.
