Woody point sp success

Hello fellow Ausfishers Having today off I decided to head to woody point armed with a new location for a fish .although nothing off any size was caught it was a fantastic day out on the water and my success with the sp,s continued on the pike after I had caught 20 of the little bugger I spent the rest off the day throwing them back and they were nailing everything I threw at them Greens ,purples,silvers and just to test my theory out I decided to try a jig head with no lure on it at all and also nailed 1 with that, was a fun day I can only hope they are their in numbers again next week when I can take out my youngest this type off fishing is how I can remember it when I was a youngster you cant possibly get bored when there on that thick.cheers Snas .No photos

They can be good fun at times. Great to put away as bait. They also make up a pretty good feed if you want.

Fair dinkum ? they smell like a well worn traveller who just stepped off a 24 hour flight ! Couldn't imagine eating them.

A heap of pike are better than no fish at all and they are good fun to catch thats for sure .
Good to see someone was out there having fun
