The Wifes day out,  done well, your opinion.

The wife and I went down the Mary yesterday for a few hours, dug a few yabbies at beaver-rock and headed towards river heads fished for whiting first and caught 9 good size fish 1 flathead, crossed over to the other side and settled in to wait for the bream, they came on the bite about 1 hr before high and we ended up with 6 between 33 & 35 cm, 3 more flathead. Her catch was 2 flathead 45 cm, 3 bream up to 35 cm and a few of the whiting, but what do you do when they decide to have a rest half way through the session, and when you need a hand with the landing net they say cant you see I am reading. Don't worry, when you get home, you can remind her about her little 'rest' when it time to clean, fillet, skin and cook 'em!

(At least your lady is interested in fishing!)

Well done Bob and Mrs. Bob it looks like you both have the boat setup just right for whatever occasion. Those fish are good quality fish keep up the good work both of you. Mossy

    Good days!

If you catch fish and your other half has made the time to come out with you, I really can't ask for more than that. If she wants to read, LET HER READ

If memory serves me well, whenever I have fished with a girl on board of any description ( wife, daughter, relative, someone elses wife ) I always catch more fish.... umnn.... correction.... more fish come into the boat and you usually get a lunch packed to suit a king, rather than plain ol peanut butter sangas like I usually make.

    Good on you!!

Nice day out Bob, hope you get many more like that one!

Scalem, I gotta agree totaly it must be the feralmaons in there skin that makes the woman catch more. Regardless I do love those chicken samoes & home made cakes my missus brings.
    cheers

I am on my way Bob , thanks Ros for keep'n my seat warm , seriously well done, nice feed as always and wouldn’t expect anything less. Soon as I can get a break I’ll be on board again if Ros will move over , looking pretty comfy up the front there….
