The wife and I went down the Mary yesterday for a few hours, dug a few yabbies at beaver-rock and headed towards river heads fished for whiting first and caught 9 good size fish 1 flathead,crossed over to the other side and settled in to wait for the bream, they came on the bite about 1 hr before high and we ended up with 6 between 33 & 35 cm, 3 more flathead. Her catch was 2 flathead 45 cm, 3 bream up to 35 cm and a few of the whiting, but what do you do when they decide to have a rest half way through the session, and when you need a hand with the landing net they say cant you see I am reading. ) I always catch more fish.... umnn.... correction.... more fish come into the boat and you usually get a lunch packed to suit a king, rather than plain ol peanut butter sangas like I usually make.
