Hmmm, I just found this thread, Ive been busy the last few weeks.

I saw this report on nuggets TV news the friday before last. I was taping it, as I usually do, and replayed it quite a few times to show my missus. Nice of nugget to give away the spot?

Great catch, and a story you wont forget. Im now totally convinced that stealth is the most important ingredient in fishing.

HAha the fishing gods are certainly shining on you fish brain! What a fish! Still look at the pics every day! Was telling my mates about the fish, and the best way I could describe the capture was by jumping up and down while making excited squealing noises. Good on ya again!

HI Joel, Just coming down from the whole experience its opened new limits on what can caught on a kayak on light gear I thought 4kg would max my gear out I think the yak's like an extra drag. Cheers fishbrain
