When on a school camp to south straddy for the week. Stayed at south curigee camp grounds which are very nice especially the hot showers
Fishing on the trip was shocking.
We spent every morning and night fishing the gutters by the campgrounds for a few dart and bream and 3 salmon biggest going 70cm (best fish for the trip) Not a tailor caught for the week, quite a dissapointment.
The seaway only produced 1 legal bream which was pathetic since we had to walk for an hour to get there.
The broadwater side only produced small flatties and a few small bream and whiting.
South Straddy is a very nice place to fish, just didnt produce the goods for us. A good time was still had.
