    Pumistone Lizards

Time to re-grease the boat rollers so it seemed silly not to have a quick fish while it was off the trailer. Launched at Caloundra this morning and flicked plastics for a couple hours. Fishing was very slow to say the least. As usual, I boated a nice lizard in the first half hour which just gets your hopes up for a good session. Worked bloody hard after that for only moderate success. Might be a bit too early for them yet but it sure made the roller job seem worth while .

With a few more cracks still to come in the next few weeks. Might try up towards Roys next time & work my way up to Donnybrook. From memory, back in the old days September was always the best month for Pumistone lizards.
