Had the first team trip for the "The Jigolo's" yesterday.
My mates (& crew for the FC) Lynchie & Toppy hadn't met before so we had our first team fish to try to gel the team and see who could hang the most shit on everyone, who could catch the most fish, the biggest fish, the most snags and tip-wraps (and re-rigs!!), and who would cry first from having the piss taken out of em!!! #
Had an awesome day and so many laughs that Lynchie put his back out and is now in bed full of pain-killers!! #Of course this wasn't anything to do with my driving! #Reasonably tough fishing with plenty of rain squalls and bloody cold weather for this time of year, but still managed enough fish to keep the scoreboard constantly ticking with biggest fish going 75 and plenty others in the 60-70 mark.
It's all very easy when there's not 200 other teams catchin them next to you!! #Anyway no matter how we fish, at least we found out we're gunna have ball fishng the FC together this year, and I have to say I couldn't of had better blokes with funnier jokes to be stuck on a boat with. ##
All went well; no bungs left out, boat ramp stuff ups or camera's & phones accidently overboard ..... as tends to happen on these sort of days! #I Even managed to stop flatty fishing to throw a squid jig around for 5 min when Toppy lured a nice squid in on his stick-bait ..... ate him 4 dinner YUM!! #I've never bothered with squid before but might have to do it more often! #Toppy#It would be nice however if next time you aimed the squid AWAY from me as it squirts 10 litres of thick black ink everywhere!! #Yeah, laugh it up, buddy
RESULTS:

- #Most flathead: Lynchie (kicked our arse with 16 on the board)
- #Most snags, tip-wraps, brids nests, stuff ups and re-rigs: Lynchie
- #Biggest fish for the day: Me (75cm)
- #Driest, piss-funny sense of humour: Toppy
- #Best other species: Me with the cephalopod
- #Best aim with a Squid ink-gun: Toppy
- #First to cry for his Mumma .......... well we were all in fits of laughter so that's a hard one! #I'll have to whip em harder next time!!

I think it'll be hard to better the day we had today, tho I'm sure we'll try.
All I can say is you were lucky that squid was a two srokeif he had one more round in the chamber mmmm... might not have been so lucky.
Hope Lynchie improves before the comp seen as he will be holding the torche for our team.
He is a flathead catching machine!
Tell him to get some of that ar$e candy that I told him about for his back, you better take him a bucket of lemons at the same time.

Great fishing and an entertaining read. We enjoyed meeting up with the both of you last night and comparing stories - although mine now seem to pale in comparison.
Really looking forward to a trip or two - who knows we may even get the girls camping sometime.
