Was lucky enough to get an early mark at work today so decided to brave the wind and head up a little creek I know of in the Pine. Had a few good runs but dropped them all because of the wind (thats my excuse anyway) Waited for five minutes then tried the same snag again. Hooked up on what felt like a smallish bream when I got him out of the snags he really lit up. Ended up measuring 31cm to the fork. Not bad for about an hour on the water in gailing winds.
Hey mate nice bream... Noticed ur avatar.... haha think i might know where you are. was in the baot when a mate caught one exactly the same size and what appear to be exatly the same spot.... they go rpetty hard aye.
Cheers

Jackash are you talking about the cobe?? Yeah we were targeting Trevs that were boiling everywhere around us but they wouldn't take anything. I did the unthinkable and picked up my 2kg stick with 4 pd and a 3" flick bait and cast into a boil. I let it sink then hooked up on the little thug. Towed me round for ages.
If your talking about the Pine, ssshhhhhh it's a secret. Ha ha ha
Thanks for all the positive comments guys. I have a secret though. You have all said that the photo is great. I was actually fishing solo and the only way for me to take the pic was to rest the camera on the casting platform on my tackle bag and set the timer. 12 seconds later the timer goes off and I have a picture. There was absolutely no skill in it at all.
The Bream was good though. Going up there again this week to get him again. Maybe even his brother.
