Went for a fish out in the bay this Morning, Spot X, Managed 3 Squire lost one
right at the boat, It took of with my $19 SX40 in its mouth, Picked it for around 45cm,
1 flathead and 3 Bream, Kept a squire and the flaty for dinner tonight!
Was very closet to airport, Would not call it tranquil with the jets roaring over Head.
It was a beat morning and was homewashed up by 10am

It's awsome Fun on the light gear but proveing to be Expensive, I had a brainsnap this morning Instead of using my Landing net on the bigger fish I decided to grab the leader and try to lift it into the boat, as loon as I grabbed the 4lb leader the fish ran under the boat, leader hit the bottom of the boat, goodbye fish and SX40. want do that again!!
Tough Luck Mate bet you wont do that again. I will be heading up the pin again on monday to have another look around we had a really good session in the seaway yesterday morning.
