    Threadfin, Maryriver bridge

Drove over the bridge about an hour ago and saw a few blokes having a fish so parked the car and walked back to see if there was anything happening. Within 30 minuets they had 4 hits with one small one landed. about 2 kg. got a quick photo and left them to it. they said they have been doing well lately but tonight was a bit quiet but thought they might do better later in the night. Bob.

tri. There are two bridges over the Mary, one is named the Lamington and the other is the Granville. If you are coming up the hiway and turn off into Maryborough you will cross the Lamington and if you come from Tin-can bay side you will cross the Granville. Both these bridges are producing fish at night and if you fish during the day try in close to the banks. There are ramps at both bridges and they are only 5 klm apart if your in a boat, so it only takes a few minuets to go from one to the other. There is another bridge which is on the main hiway but it is to high to fish off and I dont think the shadow effect works there at night but there are fish along the banks in that area. Bob.
