late thurs report from redcliffe
sorry its late but ya know what they say
had a few hours with linda on the water on thurs arvo , had a look out the front for a while and linda dropped a nice snapper on plakkies before a squall drove us back in to the boat ramp at clontarf, so we anchored up near the "rocks" sign and drifted a few cut pillies about whilst waiting to see what the weather did .
got smashed up a few times b4 i boated a surprise 39cm squire on 6lb leader and then linda was on with the heavier gear (3-5kg penn pinpoint with affinity4000 ) and the drag was humming nicely , a few mins later she had a nice cod to the net and quickly followed that with a bream around 35cm (released)and we also got a few undersize squire. had enough for dinner so we picked up the kids from school and headed home.i think all the recent wind must have pushed a few decent squire right in close to clontarf as this is the first time i've seen em in this far.
end report
cheers swano

Judging by the photo looks like it was a good day pity about the wind though at least you got a feed .

Fishing is always full of surprises and it is that element of surprise and not knowing what I might be pulling up out of the water that always has me keen to go again. Well done on catching a feed. That wind has been a pain for weeks. Let's hope it eases soon and gives us a decent break soon. Regards,
