hi all,
finished work friday arvo and decided i'd have a flick along the rock walls at tweed landbased for some trevally. was armed with my rack raider and a 2500reel with 6lb braid and 8lb leader. started flicking a flickbait on a 1/8 jig head along the wall and picked up a couple of smaller big eye trevs (about 40cm) as it got darker the bigger ones seemed to come out to play. i picked up three nice sized trevs (didnt measure i guess they would have been around the 2kg mark) before i left, which left my wrist in pain as i was using a bream rod and could only really use one hand to fight. any way a good way to spend the arvo. i only got one usable pic as i had to take them one handed as i was a loner.
