Re: First ever JACK
My elation at catching this little fatty was great, however, after running the tape measure over it.........mmmmmmmmm great big crash down to earth. Anyway, he was well taken care of and released to finish his meal because i saw my mullet still in its throat.
I am now very eager to catch another. I collected my bait in Townsville and tried to keep them alive in a small bucket with aerator. Gave them a good dose of ice-blocks before we hit the road as i thought if I didn't give ice, they will die from the heat in the car and the 45 minute drive.
Happy anyway.............anyone with any other choice spots for the landbased fisherman in Townsville will be appreciated
