Is any one still getting tailor?

Haven't been out for a month and was wondering if any one is still getting any tailor? If so where is fishing well? would love to have another crack at them either this weekend or next. Cheers in advance. G.

A few mates and I have been getting quite a few Tailor in the Brisbane River on plastics and hardbodies fishing for Bream. Which is a bit of a change to what is usually caught. Though I don't know if this is of any help . Though someone is bound to have a more consistant beach report.

Grich, there is still at least 5 months of the season left to run. After tailor spawn, the greenbacks school up and travel back down the coast inshore looking for frogmouth pilchards, gar and whitebait. The same bait as the mackerel and tuna schools are after. The choppers tend to travel out wide or be potential prey to these species. The majority of 4kg+ tailor that we have caught over the past 30 years have been taken between Christmas and early April on Teewah Beach. The further south you are from Noosa, the later they arrive. In all reality the tailor are available all year round except at the extremities of their migration.

I've attached an article that isn't quite finished that goes into some detail as to the migration of tailor for those interested.
