hello all........
dont you think its strange how one day you use the same lures,the same spot,the same troll speed,the fish are chopping in the same manner,at the same time as the next day when you do it all again,but the one thing different is the species in which you are pulling in. yesterday all i was getting were taylor and the odd mackerel,but thismorning all we got were estuary cod ........anyway here is the cod the old boy got..................thought i would take this time to show off my new sticker aswell. ...........jez
hey rich,the lure was a blue "predatec"they seem to do the trick.mackerel love em.the cod was around 56cm so not overly huge but with a gob like that they almost pull the boat to a complete halt!
That's a nice cod and yes it is strange how fishing can change overnight. That's the beauty of it though because you never know just what is under you until you are there. Nice to see that there are people doing okay on the hard body lures as well. Make a change from the SP reports which seem to have taken over. Nice sticker too BTW in case nobody else remembers to comment.
