Got a call from Cheech for a afterwork trip to mud. We were expecting an easterly but it shifted NE. You can guess the rest.
Got a few undersize of the usual variety . One massive run that was on the way to spooling my 2500 . Cheech was madly trying to chuck the anchor rope to follow it when it cut me off. It truly had that reel smoking. Oh well we can only guess!!.
Cheech hooked some truly impressive catties, too bad they were vermin . bit of fun on the light gear though.
Moral of the story .... Northerly,,, save your fuel.
