    Peel & Beyond !!!!!

    Duyz72 & Decided to go for a fish this morning around Peel ( on account of the northerlies ) Fished a few spots , Nothin but grinners ! About 7ish we poked our heads around the corner at cucumber point & the wind had eazed , So we headed 4 the rous. Spot x not much on the sounder there but gave it a go anyway ..... First drop with the gulp under size cod , ok thats a start . Second drop 38 cm cod , things are picking up. Mean while my deckie is entertaining the grinners population ooooppps Im on again, 39 cm cod , this is great . This time Daves got a rainbow , so down goes a livie... Bang im on again 48cm cod, Fantastic.... ZZZZZZZ My deckies on ( About time ) a few nervous moment while i netted it, nice mack about 60cm . time to go home .....

    Nice report Pitsta. Is it my imagination or are the Cod taking over the waters out there? Seems most people are just catching cod (and grinners) A feed is a feed however and I am licking my chops thinking of the fillets you would get off those.

    Yeah poodroo, we caught 6 & released 3 . I'll have real cod for brekkie !!

    T1 Best outing for a while, Until i took Adam out in the afternoon. Back 2 my usual outing , But it was good to finally meet him

    I just read your report look what I miss out on unfortunately had to sell my old vechile and sold it o'well there's next weekend

    yeah those grinner's are a pest I know people out there love to eat them some people call them poor mans whiting they are not for me
