There baaack. A PB before work is always rewarding and makes the rest of the day a breeze.
Foggy
Well done T.
Good to you out there again
I love early morning prework trips as your on a high the reset of the day....
Congratulations all round.
You guys are dedicated to be getting out before working hours, and you have the rewards to show for it.
Adam, your PB's mark is always on the increase, I wonder what the next milestone will be![]()
Looking forward to that!!
Scalem
From the pics it looks like it was a top day for it.
Maybe it could have been a big cod that smashed the chopper?
T1 Welcome back and congrats to Adam on a 54 cm PB, I wish I was there![]()

Well done, fellas!
I was thinking of going yesterday myself but lost the motivation. I have to say that getting into daytime fishing mode as summer comes along is a bit of a challenge to me after several months of delightful winter nights on the water. Getting out there as early as you blokes might be the go especially if you get something worthwhile like that.![]()
Nice work Adam & T, T1 you will find the squire all year round on the Wello Reef but not in quantity.
40 to 50cm fish are common through the summer months and you will also encounter the grass sweetlip but they can be hard to land due to there dirty fighting techniques.
Cheers Brent![]()
nice squire there fellas...Well Done [smiley=thumbsup.gif] [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
T1,amanda and i are still keen for a sp session whenever you got a couple of spots on your boat
cheers tim![]()
Thanks All & Sundry!!
It certainly is fun and satisfying when you can go for a few hours and land a nice feed that's for sure! What's even better is that we caught our fish in 1.25 hours. On par with our last trip where we bagged out in 2.5 hours (on that occassion i reckon i spent an hour out of the water with tackle & brain failure!)...
I personally believe it was a Cod too that inhaled the Chopper! Would have been a decent fish (allegedly!).
CHARLIE, Bruce, it was actually quite chilly yesterday morning... Not quite summer yet!
AQUARIUS, thanks Brent! Looking forward to the challenge of landing a decent Sweetie...
TIM, we definitely have to get a session in soon mate - will try and work something out but having 3 on my boat will mean somewhere close like Wello. I'm sure you'll be disappointed by that!
ADAMY, my pleasure to be able to assist in your PB's!! Just as satisfying for me too my friend! Btw guys, a small piece of trivia... ADAMY in arabic (pron. aa-da-me) means good genuine bloke! Very appropriate in his case!
Take Care T
Doesn't it also mean, kicked off some blokes property for nicking his fruit?![]()
