bought my fist boat on Saturday 
(thanks wantofish) but with the wife smashing my car last wednesday 
, i found myself with a boat but no way of getting it to the water 
.
lucky for me my mates know what had happened and gave me a call late saturday night, and i was set to head out on the bay on the sunday morning.
up at 2.50 to be picked up at 3 by Robbie John then across to Rowies, to pick up his boat and be on the water around 5.
it was a great day with lots of macks busting into the bait schools, but all we managed to land were some undersized schoolies. we did see lots of macks around the meter mark go flying past the boat but couldn't get onto one of them.
all in all it was a great day on the water with some mates, with the only high light being my mate Robbi John catching a legal whiting with a tolled spoon.
with a bit of luck my car should be back on the road soon and i'll start posting some reports
