Hey all
It was this Sunday and it was decided to do a jack session. So 5am we were on the water with a few cast and the bait was taken care of, then casted out. What happened next was a boy's dream, my little bro, was sitting ready when wack the rod was nearly ripped from his cold morning hands, a jack of 45 to 50 cm was nearly a the bank when snap it was all over. we then regained our composure, casted out then it was my turn with a healthy wack but nothing, a little dis-heartened jase yelled i am on, a brief fight and a healthy small jack was brought to shore. 29 cm. So not a bad start three hits one fish, and a heap of funwe then left befor ethe sun got too high and returned that afternoon, to a barmy everning, The baits hit the water and after a short wait a massive boil and jase was in and was really in a great battle with us winning a 44 cm jack, after a few picks he was swimming free. Then we were back in again. Only two more minutes later the biggest hit ever, and a short burst towards the bank and snap it was all over sixty pound leader broke like cotton, and that was it onle a forty five cm flathead and a bream.
It was one of the best sessions on jacks i have ever whitnessed, around three hours solid fishing with six solid hits and two landered so can't complain with thatMy mate jase is a top fisho and full credit to him it was his day I enjoyed watching those bent rods just as much as having them myself well done mate. Next time that brown snake might have to mve along cause that spot is a ripper!!!!!!
Cheers TT
