Schools Out In The Passage
After last weekends c&r trip up to the dams, the pay mistress was starting to get a bit pinicky about haveing some fresh fish for her tea, so with heavy heart I forced my self to head up to Donnybrook this morning, chaseing some lizards on softies.
Fished the usual spots with squidgys, but never have I caught so many under size flathead, easilly 30 fish, with the majority between 30 and 39 cm long.
Worked hard to put 2 just legal fish in the esky, and then headed up the back of Hussey Ck for a jack flick, with no luck.
She was a cracker of a morning, with the bonus of a couple of sandies from the pots I dropped in Glasshouse earlier in the morn, no muddies yet.
Cheers

Hi Brian,
I was up Donnybrook way today and it sure was a great day to be on the water. The BOM predicted 10/15 strengthening to 15/20. There were times when there wasn't a puff about 10am.
Nice work with the catch.
How far do you go up Hussy?
