great report mate. nice way to start off the season
Well done Whytey, 2 Jacks in a session is a great effort.
Went out for a quick fish the sarvo. Fished a different spot with a small cod finding his way to the boat. A big fish! All 15cm of him. Also got worked over pretty convincingly by a big red fish or cod on 20lb locked up. Bastard stole one of my riedy golbourne jacks. Guess we cant win them all.
Thanks for the feedback guys was pretty stoked with 2 jacks to start the season just hope i have a few more of those sessions.
Cheers Whytey

Two Jacks. Now that's a good trip.
Good effort Why-ting and great read mate.
Had to laugh at the 15cm cod. I got one the same size yesterday on a Tilsan Barra in the same colouring as your pic above (42cm jack). Those cod can be real greedy at times.

some nice jacks mate good to see more around did you let them go at all.
Yeah jackextracter let them go to much fun to catch only once. I dont eat seafood anyway.
Rusty Buck. Them little cod are greedy bastards. I caught 1 two years ago that was about 10cm it took a live mullet that was about 15cm long with snooded 4/0's. Little fish but geez they have big mouths for there size.
Cheers whytey

You're not wrong there. I remember as a kid catching a real small one up in the territory. We took it up to the pub to see if they'd put it in the fish tank they had. The barman told us no way, it would eat the rest, even those the same size as it. It's not till you see them in action that you'd believe it. Well done on the jacks too mate.

Great sesh mate. That second one looks albino. It even has white eyes. Never seen one so white.
Just bought 2 deep diving bombers from ######### in Bundall at %30 off. Jacks seem to love the slim profile lures that have a darting action rather than full body roll and bombers are perfect. Well done.
Pete.
