haven't had much of a go @ the flatties this year , so lined up my mate from work that is from the dark side to have a go sat morning , so as he had to go past the gem bait on his way to my place i asked him to stop & get me some stinky pillies which he generously did , got down to the ramp ( alberton ) @ 4.50 am to find some poor blokes falcon trashed , roof stoved in , rear vision mirror ripped off etc & as we were dropping the boat in saw in the mud off to the side a wallet , assuming it was the trashed cars owners i placed it & the mirror on the roof , @ this stage was thinking of running the toyota back home but figgered that these sort of scumbags would be probably be in bed bitting pillows
well it was off to throw the castnet first ( got a few little razor guts etc ) then on down to the pin , without another boat along kalinga we had a couple of drifts before anyone turned up , picked up 4 flatties, tailor & bream on bait , & ZIPP , NILL , NARDA , ZILCH , on franggers , as we had 3 flatties in the ice decided it was time to head home , pulled up for a quick go @ the mouth of the river where the dark side scored an undersized flatty & then headed home approx 9.30 am ...... had to go bloody shopping for chrissy presents
