headed down to the the river after doing a service to me outboard see ran sweet , also got a feed from the banks down near the three becons got one whiting that hit 38 cm

Nice feed there Logan_whitting thinking about going down during the week to try for a few whitting myself did you get them on grubs or Yabbies and also do you prefer the run up or run out?

Very nice feed. Good to see some nice size whiting getting caught. Might have to have a crack for some myself some time soon. Great fun on the light gear.

timor 2 i use yabbies for the whiting but i only use the small ones just the right size to fit on an number 6 hook, the best tide is the run out in the logan but make sure u pick a day with good tidal movment, i only got those fish when the tide started to move.

thanks for the info logan-whitting i was going to head down there this morning but the forecast made me think again so hopefully in the next fortnight i might get a chance to give it ago have to work the next 9 days now

i headed out again this weekend and got ten whiting again all over 27 cm 6 were over 34 cm , but my sister took the cam to schoolies so i couldn't take any pic i was cut ! all caught on the run out tide on the banks near the prawn fram crap let the spot out of the bag, tight lines
