    Cod and frustrating Jacks

Went for another flick this morning. Cant believe how many jacks i saw! I had about 8 jacks come out and have a look at the lure before darting back off to their hidy holes under the pontoons. The biggest 1 i estimated at about 50cm had 3 swipes at my lure but no hook up. 2 were sorta mid 40's and the rest were small tackers from 10-25cm. Only ended up with 1 gold spot cod today at 48cm. Was awesome to see the stike as it happened, but im now sitting here very frustrated about seing how many jacks i actually missed. This shallow water fishing around floating stucture visually awesome but friggin frustating!!!!!!!!!!!!! >

Top stuff Why-ting. Love haering about Jack strikes even if you're not hooking up. You must have the HB's down pat now with the amount of follows you are describing. Good effort and make sure that camera is always handy.

Pistol-p I forgot where i was fishing so i cant tell anyone where it is if i cant remember

Went out early this morning to see if low light would make any difference. Sitting here even more frustrated atm with a big dusting before sun up' bastard stole 1 of my gold bommers. 3 hard bodies donated to the red fish this year. Pulled the hooks on 1 fish in its mid 40's and had another 3 follow me out with one being close to 60 i reckon. Went weak at the knees when i saw that thing. Electric decided it didnt wanna do much fishing today and battery died on me. On holidays next week so hopefully there will be a few posts for me next week.
