Went for a quick flick LB on the Coomera before work. Tried a few different hardbodies, and got a hit on the Berkley Frenzy. This bream gave a good account of himself, and went 840g, 32cm to the fork. No more hits on HB, so I switched to SPs. Got a Tarpon hit on the Turtleback worm (pumpkinseed) and dropped the Tarpon at the shore after a good fight.
Met a mate who landed a good Tarpon (approx 60cm) on fly! They were the only hits over 2 hrs, and it was a bit slow for a spot that usually fires up at high tide. Must be a bit of fresh water in the river.
