happy that 2 good mates of mine had the day off we decided to try round the bayside wynnum area's to have a bit of a landbased sp. The day started off very interesting with me braking my new sp rod in half when closing the boot of the car... after 5mins of laughing at my bad luck we decided to goto nearest tackle shop to buy a new sp stick. we were finally away after this which did seem a pleasent overcast day. we decided to hit tingalpa creek first and the water did look quite clean and deep. it was a mid rising tide and after casting my fav watermelon swimming mullet 4 inch.. a couple of flicks i was on. Being my first decent hook up on my new 2kg outfit i was quite nervous and a few anxious moments as the fish was getting the better of me... anyways ended up getting the fish in and was soo bloody happy nailing my first jew 45cm. great to see such a healty fish come outta that sorta area. fish was of corse quickly released in great condition
