    Bay Spots

Well I headed out for one last shot in at the Bay's spotty population before the move up north, hoping that my wife would get to land her first spotty.

    Some pics of trip

hi fisher 4 life, was that you i spoke to out at sand hill on thursday morning about them not schooling up but you got 2 on floating pillies. i was in fisher c/c. i got 1 spottie and 1 schoolie.they were real hard to get yesterday.hardley any sign of them but they were there.had a couple of hits and some dight offs. bloke in tinny c/c did alright trolling with 2 bigish rods. not real chaty though. dont blame him for not giving away his secret though but i think he may have been using diving hard body lures though as he was only trolling real slow.what ever he was doing it worked.

Well Done... Yummy Stakes on the BBQ. We did not do to well with the spots but once again came home with a few Squire.

SNAFU - naa we got them further south, and we ended up picking up 3 solid spots for the 6hrs we were out there. the were all around the meter mark.

Over the summer i still haven't landed any fish trolling, had a heap of solid hook-ups on b52 bombers, and also slugs trolled at around 4-6knots, but the hook's kept pulling. the bite has dropped off considerably from a month ago, when we didn't find it too difficult to catch our bag limit in a few hours.
