approx 115kg black marlin released is my biggest Fish and biggest shark landed based is between 150kg and 200kg Thresher shark.

I've had the same problems with tailor throwing trebles rock fishing at Fraser. You could use a free running lure like a Slider (not the plastic..look for other posts on here). If using raiders I've had more luck large single hooks in the 6/0 7/0 range. also tried some japanese jigging hooks with the eye parallel to the shank not 90 deg as most, but they are hideously expensive and I probably would use them for maccies.
